ST offers its racing springs in different spring rates and lengths for a sportier or more comfortable setup. The spring rate is the load in kg needed to compress the spring by 10 mm: a higher rate is firmer and sportier, a lower rate more comfortable. A longer spring allows less lowering, a shorter spring more.
