Delivery & Shipping

This page reproduces clause 7 of our Terms and Conditions of Sale. For returns, see Returns & Refunds.

7. Lead times, delivery, risk and inspection

Lead times and ETAs are estimates only, not guarantees. They are based on previous orders and supplier information. Many manufacturers make items to order and ship internationally, so delays can occur. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss caused by a delay. An ordinary delay in manufacture, freight, or customs beyond our control is not a reason to cancel an Order, but if a delay becomes unreasonable you may cancel for a full refund (clauses 4 and 6).

Unless agreed otherwise, we arrange delivery of the Goods, both within Australia and internationally. Freight is charged to you as a separate item at our delivery rate. Where an Order includes several items, we will ask whether you would like us to hold them and send them together once the Order is complete, or ship them in parts as they become available (for example stocked items ahead of Special Order Items). If we ship in parts, we may invoice and charge freight for each part separately. A delay or issue with one item does not affect the rest of the Order.

Risk in the Goods passes to you on delivery to you (or your nominated carrier or address) or on collection, whichever is first. Title passes only on payment in full (clause 4).

Inspection on receipt. You must inspect the Goods on delivery. To claim for transit damage, a shortage, or an item that does not match your Order, you must notify us in writing, with supporting details and photographs, within 7 days of delivery. If you do not, the Goods are treated as delivered complete and undamaged. For freight deliveries of larger items, photograph the packaging and inspect the contents before signing for them, as carriers may reject damage claims that are not noted on delivery. This clause does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (clause 10).
