Description

KW's V1 is the entry model in its street coilover range, pairing height-adjustable struts with a damper setup that KW pre-configures for each vehicle. Ride height is continuously adjustable within the tested range using a dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and composite collar, so it can still be changed easily years after fitting. Corrosion-resistant springs and bump stops are built for a long service life. This kit is developed for the BMW 540i / 530i V8 (E34).

  • Note 1: Height adjustable on the front and rear axles (threaded strut housings).
  • Note 6: When using original tyres, wheel offset spacers may be required.
  • Note 8: Not for vehicles with automatic self levelling control / air suspension.
  • Note 18: For front dome bearing caps with a diameter of 80 mm, new parts are required. (BMW Part No.: dome bearings 31 331 139 452 + washer 31 331 116 983 + collar 31 331 110 196).
  • Note 38: If the rear axle shock absorber of the car is equipped with M12 thread - you need to modify the supporting bearing unit to M10 thread. Therefore please buy the following BMW parts from the car manufacturer: supporting bearing 33 52 1 132 270, washer disc 33 52 1 136 063, disc 33 52 1 129 565.
  • Note 40: Original struts need to be sent in advance for modification.
  • Note 41: Coilover kits where the strut housings are being modified are only available in galvanised finish.
  • Note 62: Not for cars with electronic damping.
