GiroDisc two-piece floating front iron rotor conversion for the Ferrari 458 Challenge and 488 Challenge. The system is a direct replacement for the OE disc.
Key Features
- Hat made from U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminium
- Disc made from GiroDisc's proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined in house
- Curved vane design acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc
- Floating mount with 12 cadmium plated alloy steel drive pins and anti-noise spring washers
- Once the system is fitted, only the cast iron rotor needs replacing when needed
Specifications
- Position: Front
- Construction: Two-piece floating
- Drive pins: 12
Note A different brake pad with an annulus (pad swept area) of 66 mm or less must be used, which keeps rotor weight at a reasonable level. The pad shape is common and also found on the Nissan GT-R, Cadillac CTS-V and most AMG Mercedes with 6 piston calipers.
