The GiroDisc Rear Iron Rotor Conversion is a two-piece floating rotor for the rear axle of the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 (5th Gen).
Key Features
- Hat made from U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminium
- Disc cast in the USA from GiroDisc's own proprietary cast iron and machined in house
- Curved vane design, developed in racing, acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc
- Floating mount with anti-noise spring washers lets the rotor expand with heat and self centre between the pads without rattle
- Once the GiroDisc system is fitted, only the cast iron rotor needs replacing
