These GiroDisc rotors are a direct replacement for the OE front discs on the BMW 335i (E9X). They bolt directly to the car with no modifications and work with the OE calipers. Sold per pair.
The rotor uses a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump that forces cooling air through the disc. A floating mount keeps axial and radial float between the hat and disc so the rotor self centres between the pads, and anti-noise spring washers let the disc grow with heat while eliminating rattle. Once the GiroDisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed.
