The Eventuri C8 ZR1 Carbon Intake System for the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C8) builds on Eventuri's Stingray and Z06 intakes, adding high-flow turbo inlet tubes so the turbochargers reach peak boost targets more efficiently. It is not constrained by the OEM trunk panel, so it has a much larger intake architecture, and a clear polycarbonate trunk panel reveals the full carbon fibre intake when the trunk is opened.
The OEM ZR1 airbox, derived from the LT6 Z06 design, has restricted shape and limited internal volume, which become more pronounced with the higher-output LT7 engine. Eventuri's organically shaped, high-volume intake and patented Venturi housing design optimise airflow efficiency and reduce restriction, for a substantial increase in power and torque across the RPM range. Airflow was optimised with CFD analysis. The clear panel is supplied for either the HTC or Coupe version, replacing the OEM trunk panel while still allowing the Coupe hood to be stored in the boot.
