- Larger internal volume de-restricts the flow path, letting the turbo operate more efficiently and spool to peak boost faster
- High-temperature prepreg carbon fibre gives a smooth internal surface, where the stock cast aluminium tube is rough, and the smooth elbow curvature minimises turbulence
- A machined flange and a silicone coupler with an integrated thermal spacer keep the carbon elbow off the turbo, and the low through-thickness thermal conductivity of carbon means less heat reaches the airflow
- The inlet end is matched to the diameter of the MAF tube at the connection to the intake system
