The CSF FL5 Civic Type R High-Performance Dual Engine Oil Cooler Kit suits the 2023-2026 Honda FL5 Civic Type R and 2024-2026 Acura DE5 Integra Type S, both with the Turbocharged 2.0L L4 engine. Installation requires vehicle-specific modifications.
The kit uses two dual-pass oil coolers connected in series. These are the same coolers used by Honda Racing Corporation on Honda's factory FK8 TCR Touring Car.

Important FL5 installation requires cutting/trimming the front bumper, fender liners and brake ducts, plus installing rivet nuts on the crash beam rails. Templates accommodate international-market FL5 models with PDC sensors while retaining factory sensor operation.
Important DE5 installation requires cutting/trimming the factory bumper side grilles, fender liners and brake ducts, plus installing rivet nuts on the crash beam rails. The CSF bumper vents are not designed for the DE5; the factory front bumper side inserts require modification for airflow to the coolers.
Important The sandwich plate mounts at the factory oil filter location with an M20x1.5 adapter. It accepts the original oil filter or filters up to 70 mm in diameter with an M20x1.5 thread; alternative filters require a height-clearance check.
Important CSF observed reduced oil pressure after installation during testing. CSF recommends 0/5W-30 for light track duty and/or high-performance street use, and 0/5W-40 for heavy track duty and/or dedicated race builds.
Important The carbon fibre vents can be refinished in matte clear or painted. CSF recommends a qualified paint or body shop for refinishing.
