Akrapovic Exhaust System for BMW M8 / M8 Competition (F91/F92)

Constructed from high-grade lightweight titanium alloys, the Evolution Line (Titanium) is tuned for the best aural experience in all driving modes. Akrapovic sound engineers have coaxed a deep, sporty, higher-frequency V8 sound from the turbo engine, more akin to a muscle car, kept smooth with any drone eliminated.

The optional Akrapovic Sound Kit enables owners of selected Akrapovic car exhausts to control the sound of the system from the cockpit of their machine. Using Akrapovic technology, drivers can easily switch between the quiet mode and a sportier sound. With the use of a receiver (already included in evolution system) to drive the actuators that open or close the valves at the end of the exhaust system, drivers can use the Sound Remote Controller to regulate the valves.

With the use of the optional Akrapovic Sound Kit, the ECE type approval is no longer valid.

The Slip-On Line (Titanium) offers the Akrapovic experience while meeting ECE type approval, with a distinctive sound through the gears and enhanced power and torque. It is built from lightweight high-grade titanium alloys and finished with two sets of carbon-fibre / titanium tailpipes, with complex parts, including the valve housings and collectors from the central muffler to the tailpipes, crafted at the in-house titanium foundry.

• Two valves, one on each side of the muffler, tailor the gas flow for a sound distinctly different from the M8 with a stock system, most noticeable when accelerating through the gears
• Optional Akrapovic Sound Kit gives further control of the tone
• Power up 14.3 hp at 5,200 rpm and torque up 19.4 Nm at 5,200 rpm, tested on the Akrapovic dyno against a BMW M8 Competition with a stock M Sport exhaust

The Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium) was tested and developed together with the Slip-On Line (Titanium). This full titanium accessory features complex parts cast in Akrapovic's in-house foundry and is constructed from lightweight high-grade alloys to reduce weight.
