Description

This GiroDisc rear rotor is a two-piece floating rotor for the Mitsubishi Evo X, a direct replacement for the OE disc that bolts straight on and works with the OE calipers. It keeps the factory brake bias and ABS efficiency, while the lower rotational and unsprung weight supports quicker acceleration and suspension response.

Key Features

  • Hat machined from U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminium
  • Rotor ring cast in GiroDisc's proprietary iron, poured in the USA and machined in house
  • Curved vane design, developed in racing, to pump cooling air through the disc
  • Floating mount with 10 high strength alloy steel drive pins, cadmium plated, secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers and anti-noise spring washers
  • Only the cast iron rotor ring needs replacing once the hat is fitted
