Eventuri proudly presents the C8 ZR1 Intake System, a comprehensive engineering achievement delivering ground-breaking performance gains rarely seen from an intake upgrade alone.

Building on our proven success with the C8 Stingray and Z06 platforms, we elevated the ZR1 system even further by incorporating high-flow turbo inlet tubes, each designed to be 30% larger in volume compared to the OEM tubes. This allows the turbochargers to achieve peak boost targets with greater efficiency. Unlike the factory configuration, our intake system is not constrained by the OEM trunk panel. This freedom allowed us to engineer a significantly larger intake architecture while also transforming the engine bay presentation. A clear polycarbonate trunk panel reveals the full carbon fibre intake system when opened—turning the engine compartment into a visual centrepiece.

The OEM ZR1 airbox, derived from the LT6 Z06 design, retains several inherent limitations. Its restricted shape and limited internal volume are dictated by the packaging constraints behind the factory trunk panel. When paired with the higher-output LT7 engine, these restrictions become even more pronounced. Our solution eliminates these bottlenecks through an organically shaped, high-volume intake system combined with our patented Venturi housing design. This configuration optimizes airflow efficiency and reduces restriction throughout the intake path.

The result is a substantial increase in power and torque across the entire RPM range, highlighted by a transformative improvement in mid-range performance—delivering the responsiveness and acceleration the C8 ZR1 platform truly deserves. More details on our patented technology can be found.

Available for both Coupe and HTC.

Details

Our intake comes with a clear panel for either the HTC or Coupe versions. This panel replaces the OEM trunk panel but still allows the Coupe hood to be stored in the boot.

The Eventuri C8 ZR1 Corvette intake system consists of a number of components engineered to perform a specific purpose and fabricated to the highest of standards. We use 100% pre-preg carbon fiber with no fibreglass which means we can achieve a smooth internal surface to maintain smoother airflow. Here are the details for each component and the design ethos behind them:

Each intake system consists of:

  • Carbon Fiber Double Venturi Filter Housing
  • Bespoke High Flow Dry Cone Filters
  • Carbon Fiber Inlet Ducts
  • Carbon Fiber Turbo Tubes
  • Clear Polycarbonate Trunk Panel
  • Silicon Couplers
  • Laser Cut Stainless Steel Brackets and Heat Shields
  • Custom Inlet Flanges
  • Custom Flexible Hoses

PATENTED FILTER HOUSING

The ZR1 Filter Housing features two of our patented Venturi pods, designed to merge into a large-volume intake chamber while integrating dual MAF tubes that precisely direct airflow to each turbocharger.

This system is the next evolution of our C8 Z06 housing, developed through months of intensive prototyping, testing, and data-driven refinement.

Inside the carbon fibre housing are two bespoke high-flow filters paired with aluminium cowls that help guide airflow directly onto the filtration surfaces. The housing surrounds the reverse-mounted filters and smoothly transitions airflow toward the MAF tubes.

As the cross-sectional area gradually reduces, the design creates a Venturi effect, accelerating airflow while maintaining laminar flow conditions—much like a large velocity stack. The result is highly efficient airflow delivery and improved turbocharger response.

Here is a diagram to show the comparison between our patented design and a regular intake system. Further details can be read in the Technology page.

DYNO TESTING

Our C8 Z06 Intake was developed in conjunction with Corvette specialists, Paragon Performance who carried out performance testing and data logging for each prototype that we produced. All dyno tests were carried out in an independent facility and you can find a video link in the relevant tab showing how that was done. All other variables were minimised for a reliable and repeatable result. A fully stock ZR1 was tested with engine temperatures at a stabilized value and then the car was left on the dyno while the intake was installed. After installation the car was allowed to reach the same temperatures and then run on the dyno several times for a consistent result. In fact the dyno runs with the Eventuri intake were done with higher ambient temperatures.

As can be seen, there is a significant gain throughout the RPM range, and in particular in the mid-range around 5300rpm where the intake released gains of up to 110whp and 108ft-lb of torque. This is unchartered territory for an intake and just shows how restrictive the stock system is. These gains translate to the road with a much more responsive feel and a new found aggression through the RPM under full acceleration. Importantly it is the total gain across the entire RPM range which our intake releases that brings the ZR1 up to another level.

CFD ANALYSIS

CFD flow analysis was conducted on the intake to optimise the shape for smooth flow and therefore reduced drag. The simulation below shows a sweeping cut plot of velocities through the intake. The streamlines demonstrate how the intake takes turbulent flow upstream of the filters and shapes the flow to be smooth and linear as it collects and moves through the MAF tube sections to the throttle body. The velocity increases as it moves through the MAF tube yet remains laminar and uniform throughout the tube to the engine. This analysis is showing the results for one of the prototypes, which was then improved for the final version.
