It is suited to prolonged everyday street driving while remaining capable of enduring severe use without fade, and it is also rotor-friendly.

Porterfield has taken extensive measures to ensure that the R4-S compound has the lowest possible noise and dust levels, far below OEM equipment or other high-performance brake materials.
